Unit 1 - Mapping the journey to your life goals

This first unit is about ‘mapping the voyage’ to your life goals.

Subunit 1.1
You are assisted by Dr Egg and your Tugboat assistant to ‘get your bearings’; your starting point, your destination Point, the routes to get there and the external events that you meet along the way.

Subunit 1.2
Set sail ‘in search of each of your Life Goals’. You learn that you can reach these goals by following your own natural, automatic reaction to events. Dr Egg and Tugboat explain the makeup of these internal events, their energy source and how you can get trapped, if your anxiety levels are too low or too high.

Subunit 1.3
Learn ‘how to reach your Life Goals’ by making skilful decisions using your navigation tools. You learn about the limits of your performance, about being at peak performance, ‘how to stay healthy’ and how to avoid falling into unhelpful anxiety or depression. Then you learn ‘how to recover’ from those states, using coping strategies that get you beyond just partial recovery.
